EN 12492 Work-at-Height Protection

EN 12492 helmets are designed for work situations where there is a risk of slipping, falling, swinging movement, or impact from more than one direction. This makes the helmet especially suitable for demanding environments such as:

A key requirement of EN 12492 is the high-strength chinstrap system. Unlike standard industrial helmets, the chinstrap must remain securely fastened and must not release under a force of at least 500 N. This helps ensure that the helmet stays firmly on the user’s head during a fall, sudden movement, or side impact.
